Theatre Binoculars as a Chistmas Present

Yesterday my husband and I got out our family albums, the ones where we were very small, thoughtless and young… There were lots of memories, stories and warm feeling shared.
I remember being a teenager, when I loved spending time with my friends, going to discos and concerts. My mom didn't like that, because I didn't have time to eat or spend with them. There was one particular group that I listened to. We lived in a small town and one day I read in the newspaper that that group was coming to our town. I decided to go. No one can convince me, it was my decision, and in addition I was very stubborn. The concert was held on the stadium.
On the set day, 5 hours before the concert, there was a huge crowd at the entrance (including myself and my friends). When it was time, the doors were opened and this crowd flowed into the stadium. I wasn't at the beginning, so got only the back rows. But even at that time being very practical, brought with me a pair of compact binoculars. They were not modern, but simple easy to use theatre binoculars, which helped me to see the group. I remember this feeling even till this day and thank my parents, who gave me this theatre binoculars as a present on the Christmas day before the concert…
