Black starry velvet sky

Last night on the road coming from our friends' house it seemed to me that I heard some kind of sound or noise. It was in a tiny unpaved road in the field, there was noone, only the beauty of the nature and us. At first I pricked up my ears, but then decided that it was very silly of me to do that, that everything was fine and I was just thinking it out. I assured myself that it was some kind of animal or a bird, but not the car. After my these thoughts my husband stopped the car so suddenly and unexpectidly that I almost hit the windshield. Well, after he got out of the car and checked everything he knew, it turned out that one of our tires was flat. I bet that many of you understand our feelings completely. Why did it happen to us, why now, why here, why???? My husband was desperate, I was about to burst into tears, when I looked up in the sky trying to calm myself down and help my husband to fix the car. And I saw it... it was so beautiful and magic, charming and attractive, that I simply drowned and dissolved in it. It felt like the sky swallowed me. I loved being inside it. Looking back I realised that someone had been telling me to slow down and to stop, but I didn't listen, so that accident was the result of my ignorance. So, I decided to make the most of this situation. I got my binoculars out of the car, grabbed my husband, and we started our game of counting the bright diamonds on the black velvet sky...
